Nevis Learning Corner LLC is family owned and operated. We opened in 2017 because local families needed quality childcare and early education. Here’s why parents choose us.
Safe, clean and friendly
Your child’s safety comes first. Every child has a completed medical form on file before their first day.
Three meals a day
Breakfast, lunch and a light supper, freshly prepared, plus snacks and fruit. You’re welcome to send food from home too.
Outside every day
When the weather allows, we head out to the backyard for swings, slides, water play and the garden.
Learning through play
We follow each child’s pace and interests and help them find their own individuality through exploration and play.

We are child paced and child directed. Every child is treated with love, friendship and respect, and every day brings a variety of activities, creative learning and chances to grow.
Our program is varied on purpose. It supports each child’s educational, social, cultural, emotional and recreational development at the right level for their age.

Nevzeta “Nevi” Kajic owns Nevis Learning Corner, and she teaches here every day.
I am hard-working and experienced, gentle and kind. Kids enjoy being around me, and I love spending my days with them.

We gather on the sunshine rug to read, sing, talk about our day and practice letters and numbers. Babies have their own soft mats and activity toys, so the littlest ones can roll, crawl and pull up safely.

Enrolling is easy. We’ll have plenty of questions for you, and you should expect to ask us plenty too. From favorite games to fears and allergies, everything you tell us helps us care for your child.

What are your hours?
We’re open Monday to Friday from 7:30 am to 5:00 pm. Saturday care is available on request, depending on availability. We’re closed on Sundays.
What ages do you care for?
We care for babies, toddlers and preschoolers. Call us at 860-818-2904 to check current openings for your child’s age.
How much does it cost?
We offer affordable pricing. Rates depend on your child’s age and schedule, so call or email us for current rates.
Are meals included?
Yes. Children get breakfast, lunch and a light supper, all prepared daily, plus snacks and fruit. If you’d like to send food from home, pack it with clear instructions for when it should be given.
Do children go outside?
Every day the weather permits, as long as children are well. Our fenced backyard has swings, a playhouse with a slide, a sandbox, water tables and a garden.
Do you take field trips?
Sometimes. We let parents know weeks in advance, and a signed permission form is required for every trip.
What do I need before the first day?
A completed enrollment form and your child’s medical form. We’ll walk you through both.
